Lake Okeechobee Fishing Report – 03.22.2025

Howdy from Okeechobee, folks! Captain Joe here, back with your daily Lake Okeechobee fishing report.

The lake is sitting at 12.92 feet above sea level today. That’s a good bit lower than last year when we were at 15.54 feet, and even lower than the 14.84 feet we saw two years ago. With the lake level down, those bass are gonna be holding tight to any cover they can find.

The weather today is lookin’ like a mix of sun and clouds with a high of 80 degrees and a nice breeze out of the southeast at 6-8 miles per hour. That little bit of wind should help us out, especially if you’re targeting those big ol’ bass.
