## Lake Okeechobee Water Level Update – November 2, 2024

Good news, anglers! Lake Okeechobee’s water level is holding steady, which means more great fishing opportunities are on the horizon.

As of today, November 2nd, 2024, the lake is sitting at 16.10 feet NGVD. That’s slightly lower than this time last year (16.16 feet NGVD on November 1, 2023), but still significantly higher than two years ago (15.87 feet NGVD on November 1, 2022). This bodes well for the health of the lake and the fish that call it home.

The weather forecast for today is calling for light rain and mild temperatures. These conditions should make for a comfortable day on the water, and the overcast skies could make for some excellent bass fishing. Bass tend to be more active in low light conditions, so be sure to have your favorite topwater lures ready to go! The crappie bite should also be good, especially around any structure you can find.

Stay tuned for our full weekly fishing report on Monday, where we’ll dive deeper into the bite and provide tips on where to find the best action on Lake Okeechobee!
